Statement of Purpose Outstanding academic performance in my school and college, active participation in academic as well as extra curricular activities and work experience have helped to develop strong quantitative and analytical abilities and good leadership and communication skills. These have prepared me to handle complex problems and have given me the confidence to pursue graduate studies. And this led me to pursue Business in Management Studies from the Lala College,University of Mumbai.
I also managed to complete PG Diploma in Retail Management with first class grades. I have always had a very keen interest in the Hospitality Industry which led me to work with the Aurangabad Gymkhana Club in the Housekeeping Department as an Housekeeping Executive from 1st June 2008 to 31st August 2009. And it later promoted me to work at the Front Office Department as Assistant Front Office Manager from the period from 15th June 2010 to 30th June 2011.
I managed to play a key part with my hard work in the respective departments during the above mentioned period. I have always had a very good command over the English language which helped me a lot in showing off my interactive and confident skills. I have always managed to convince people to take a right decision. I have always had a chance to work part time for Asian Business Exhibitions and Conferences as the Event Manager which helped me a lot in gaining confidence and boosting my communication skills and managing people to work together for the company.
My interest for the Hospitality Industry helped me a great deal in setting up Lazy Pipes Sheesha Lounge and Restaurant in the heart of Aurangabad City. I have managed to successfully run a restaurant alongwith a couple of other owners. I personally feel that considering my management and communication skills,I see myself pursuing MBA in Hospitality Management from the Queen Margaret University in order to add a lot more to my knowledge. I think it would help me to a large extent in reaching higher level of success.
